My freshman year of college has been interesting, to say the least (I've been advised to not call it a sh*tshow, but that's pretty much what it was). My first year of college was my first time away from home, as is the case for many people, so I experienced a lot of things for the first time. When you decided to start the year off strong and confident.
When you made your first college friend.
When you went to your first party and everyone was drinking but you.

When you first realized drama didn't actually stop in high school.
When you tried to make yourself look presentable for rush week.
When you had to clean EVERYTHING for the first time. Without help from your mom.
When you got your first college crush.
When you first realized college is more stressful that you could've imagined.
When you had to go back home for a few weekends because it all became too much and you realized how hard it was to not live with your family anymore.
When you got your first bad grade.
When you went on your first spring break trip and immediately regretted all of your decisions.
When you went to your first sorority formal and the whole squad was on point.
When it was the end of the second semester and exams were around the corner and you finally decided that you didn't need to do your hair and makeup every day.
When you realized you had two final exams to study for, three final papers, a final project, and a ridiculously large amount of late work to turn in the last week of school.
When you finally had to accept that you're an adult now. You're living in the real world and it's so hard to get by.
