With the recent release of "Finding Dory," I have heard a lot about movies that should have sequels, but don't. Many exciting sequels are coming out within the next few years (finally), but some movies don't have any impending sequels and definitely should.
1. "Elf"
We don't get to hear about Buddy Jr.'s adventures? An "Elf" sequel would be greatly appreciated by Christmas movie lovers around the world.
2. "I Am Legend"
The critically acclaimed apocalypse movie was good, but a sequel would be greatly appreciated. I want to know how Anna does in the survivor town. Does the apocalypse ever end?
3. "Mamma Mia"
I want to know about Sophie and Sky's travels around the world!
4. "Forrest Gump"
A movie about Forrest's kid? Telling his own story intertwined with his father's? Yes, please.
5. "The Goonies"
Despite the fact that the kids are now 40 years old... maybe a sequel about their kids?
6. "Bridesmaids"
Annie Walker's wedding to Officer Rhodes and her own bridesmaid disaster would be a fabulous sequel that fans all over the country would enjoy.
7. "The Princess Bride"
"The Princess Bride" was just so good to begin with, why not make another one?
8. "The Incredibles"
This one is long-awaited after the mole people popped out of the ground in the last scene and claimed world domination. Although rumor has it this sequel will be out within the next couple years. Thank goodness!
9. "Avatar"
"Avatar" did so well in the box office the first time that a sequel would be just as big of a hit.
10. "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
"Ferris Bueller's Day Off Part 2 College Edition?" Yes, please.
11. "The Holiday"
Do they all get married? What about their career success? I want to know!
