13 Reasons To Love Bernie Sanders

As each state votes in the primaries, the election is getting closer and closer. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are nearly neck and neck (without counting superdelegates). Being an avid Sanders fan, I decided it was time to show Bernie some more love. And hopefully persuade those of you still deciding.

1. He loves musicals.

Last week Bernie was at the popular Broadway show, "Hamilton," with his wife. Fun fact, no conservatives within the election have gone to see this musical. (Hamilton's not pleased.)

2. His hair is always flawless.

Whether Bernie is running to catch a train or simply giving a speech, Bernie is flawless. His hair is just the final touch.

3. He's not Hillary.

I don't care if you're "just chilling in Cedar Rapids." I want a president that will do their job and do it well. Need I say more?

4. He can write an email without a nationwide crisis.

Do I even need to explain?

5. He sticks to what he believes in.

He has stuck to his beliefs within women's rights, taxes on the wealthy, raising minimum wage, gay rights, and many more.

6. He's not Donald Trump.

I mean unless you want a racist/orange oompa loompa for president.

7. He understands the great issues in America and intends to actually do something about them.

Not to mention he doesn't steal other campaign ideals. (Cough, Hillary cough.)

8. His ability to run at his age is astounding.

As well as running for office! Run Bernie, Run!

9. He’s the grandpa I always wanted and America needs.

We need a kind a loving hand that is willing to change what needs to be changed. Starting with becoming the first Jewish president.

10. His campaign is funded by people just like you.

Seriously, no Super PACs here and he's still an amazing candidate with a stellar campaign.

11. His tweets.

So precious and yet so sassy.

12. He believes in treating all immigrants fairly and equally — not building a wall around them.

Seriously, why do we need to keep people out? This country was created by immigrants and has flourished because of it.

13. He’s not the Zodiac killer.

I mean...

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
