The college student life can get pretty hectic real fast.

The brain can only process so much information and sometimes writing articles, papers, journals, books, or whatever you're into writing is just plain ol' hard.

This week I'm having that issue, so instead of simply writing mindlessly, here is a list of listicle ideas (don't let this inception scare you away) for when you just have no ideas but want the readership.

1. Write down listicle ideas for when you have writer's block

Okay maybe you shouldn't do this when you have writer's block, but it's always good to make a list when you have topics come to your head so you may look back on it for when you find yourself in this kind of pickle.

2. 13 Mesopotamian Life Hacks That Are Still Applicable To This Day

Who wouldn't want to read something like that? Just make sure you fact check and cite properly-unless your study focus is solely on Mesopotamian life.

3. 15 Things You Should Do Before 7:00 a.m.

Adding before any time slot peaks anybody's interest, but make sure it's relevant.

4. Life Hacks For Your Life Hacks

People are obsessed with life hacks, so come up with creative ideas to un-hack the life hacks. It'll be totally unexpected.

5. 10 Ways To Decorate Your Dorm Room On A Budget

Who doesn't love DIYs and saving money, but also looking bougie as ever?

6. 5 Websites All College Students Should Know

You can do a lot with this from finding websites that will help students succeed or simply websites that are just really cool and need more appreciation.

7. 27 Ways You're Grocery Shopping Wrong

12. 17 Weird Things We All Do But Won't Admit

Come on, we're all suckers and culprits of topics that might come up.

13. 12 Shakespearean Insults You Should Definitely Use

"What you egg"

14. 10 Reasons Why King Henry VII Had 6 Wives

This is simply quality reporting for the people.

15. 11 Celebrities Who May Or May Not Have Had A Breath Mint Today

People are suckers for celebrities.

16. 17 Thing You Should Definitely Egg During Your 20's

Because egging houses in high school is soooo overrated.

17. 12 Reasons You SHOULD Get That Tattoo of Someone's Face

We know you want to, but are too afraid to. Just do it.

All in all, whenever you have writers block, don't be afraid to get goofy. Sometimes letting your goofy out relieves stress and you enjoy yourself more writing about something entertaining rather than writing about a serious topic but you are just not in the mood or mindset to do.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
