I've been watching "Grey's Anatomy" since the very beginning. I have experienced pain and heartbreak a little too much along the years. For the past 10 or so years, I have been addicted to this show and all of the characters on it, past and present. As painful as watching this show can be, you begin to learn real life lessons to take into account into your daily lives.

1. Hold on to things that matter to you.


2. If you have a dream, don't give up.


3. Say exactly how you feel.


4. It's okay to be sad sometimes.


5. Everybody needs somebody.


6. You're going to fail sometimes, and that's okay.


7. Chase big things, even if they scare you.


8. Always be the bigger person.


9. Support the ones you love.


10. When life gets tough, dance it out.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
