Dear me,
Wow! Look at you! You're packing up all your sophomore year stuff and trying to compile in into boxes, bags and whatever you can find. Does it feel good? No, not really. Not yet, at least. Packing up your entire life is pretty stressful. And on top of all the finals and papers floating around your mind from this week, it's OK that you're stressed! This is actually a normal reason to be—good for you.
You've done a lot this year; a lot more than you thought you were going to. You're allowed to give yourself credit for that. Pat yourself on the back for once, would ya? Some people literally did nothing this year, but look at you. Your resume is nice and full of accomplishments from this year, last year and everything in between—good for you.
For the most part, you didn't have nearly the same number of panic attacks that you had freshman year. Sure, the end of the year was rocky with that, but hey, you're not perfect. You had five panic attacks this semester, which is a quarter of what you had your first year of college; be happy about this—good for you.
You maintained an amazing relationship! Your relationship is full and going strong. You've made a bunch of new friends on top of that, too. Your social circle is blooming with work friends, new friends and friends that just popped up out of the blue. Isn't it nice? Great job attempting to balance your social life and work life—good for you.
I know it's hard to give yourself credit. But looking back at this whole year, you basically killed the game. You may have been drowning in work basically the whole entire time...and you may have lacked sleep and decent food the whole year...but you survived—good for you.
Best,
Me
