Dear Dad,

Through thick and thin, you have always been there for me. As I approach my 20s, I am finally beginning to realize the importance of having you in my life and the positive influence that you have had on my life thus far. Unfortunately, I will never be able to thank you enough for everything that you have done for me. I will never be able to give you the recognition and apprectiation that you rightfully deserve in my lifetime, but I can thank you for just a few of the things you have done and continue to do for me:

Thank you for being my chauffeur before I got my license (and even now).

Thank you for working so hard each and every day so that I didn't have to.

Thank you for always giving me money so I don't have to eat the food at college.

Thank you for being the best softball coach and for pushing me to be the best player on and off the field.

Thank you for being my biggest fan, even on my off days.

Thank you for providing me with a beautiful home and copious amounts of clothes that I found "trendy" at the time.

Thank you for being the only man in my life that loves me unconditionally, and who will never do anything to break my heart.

Thank you for always reminding me to see the good in people.

Thank you for playing games with me as a child because I don't have any siblings.

Thank you for dealing with my crazy moods, terrible attitude and stubborn persona.

Thank you for attending every single school sport, or random event to support me, no matter how small or insignificant it was.

Thank you for introducing me to your music because it is now my favorite.

Thank you for reminding me of the unimportance of people in my life that do not support me.

Thank you for watching movies with me, even though I fall asleep before the movie even ends.

Thank you for being such an incredible role model, and someone who I strive to be like each and every day.

Thank you for giving me the values, beliefs and ideals that I hold so dear to this day.

Thank you for giving me your incredible sense of humor and the ability to laugh at just about anything, no matter how horrendous the joke is.

Thank you for pushing me to chase my dreams and to never give up on anything that I truly believe in.

Thank you for instilling in me the confidence to work harder than the day before.

Thank you for providing me with all I could have ever wanted, and more.

Thank you for loving me even when I had no love for myself.

Thank you for never giving up on me.
