'Law And Order SVU:' Ultimate Squad Goals

Whoever said Taylor Swift had the Ultimate Squad obviously never heard of Benson and Stabler.

'Law And Order SVU:' Ultimate Squad Goals

Now, if you have never watched "Law and Order SVU (Special Victims Unit)" before (first, why, and how have you been living so far?), I recommend you open Netflix on Safari and immediately type in "Law and Order: SVU." Then, acknowledge the fact you will not be sleeping for the next 96 hours since you will be binge-watching this must-see NBC drama series. Though Taylor Swift has a pretty cool squad, I think one of her "members," Mariska Hargitay aka Olivia "Freaking" Benson, had the ultimate squad before Taylor's was even cool. Now what makes the SVU squad the ultimate one are a few key elements.

1. Benson and Stabler...PERIOD

Like, can I be the third wheel in this most perfect relationship? Yes, they don't always agree with each other all the time, but no matter what, they will forever have each other's backs. Admit it, even though Kathy was alright, you wanted (NEEDED) Stabler and Benson to be a real romantic relationship.

2. Ice-T and his wittiness

3. Special guest appearances always "on fleek"

Remember when Ludacris played Detective Tutuola's stepson and was a semi-psycho killer?

4. "Pulled from the headlines" storylines

This is a snapshot from the episode inspired by the Chris Brown and Rihanna domestic abuse controversy. I loved when there were episodes that were "Pulled from the Headlines," because the writers and directors always put their own creative spin on the episode, which made it that more enticing to watch.

5. This Squad has been around for awhile

They are a seasoned cast who have seen and been a part of a lot of transitional periods of New York City and the show itself. But I have to say, these characters just get better with age.

Thanks, "SVU," for giving me something to watch every day to procrastinate and also helping me memorize the Miranda Rights (for my US Government class). "SVU" forever and always my ULTIMATE Squad goals.
