20 Questions to Help You Choose The Right Roommates

Coming from someone who has had their fair share of roommates, I wish I had these list of questions to ensure that my roommate was the proper fit! Building the proper foundation of communication with your roommate should be priority and will make living with them so much easier!

How many nights a week do you go out?

What time do you usually go to bed?

How do you feel about friends coming over?

How often do you have friends over?

Do you expect any out-of-town visitors?

How do you normally solve conflicts?

What do you do when you're stressed?

Do you drink or smoke?

Do you have any particular pet peeves?

How often do you clean?

What temperature do you like to keep the house at (Winter/Summer)?

What do you like to do on the weekends?

Are you still friends with your old roommates?

How were your previous roommate experiences?

Do you have any pets?

What challenges have you've faced in past living situations?

How do you feel about sharing?

What is your worst habit?

What do you want in a roommate?

Do you think we'd get along well?
