Stressed about your next test? Stressed about relationship problems? Stressed about the next president? Stressed about how you're already stressed and then something happens and now you're more stressed? There's some ways you can relieve your stress at least a tiny bit.
1. Watch YouTube
...specifically funny videos. Usually, they make you forget about what's stressing you until the video ends, and you think about why you were stressed. Give it time, and if you watch videos long enough, your stress will eventually alleviate, and you might be able to function well during important meetings and exams. The process usually takes more than an hour.
2. Go online shopping
Looking at clothes that you would like to have might help you relieve your stress. Shop for cute clothes. Shop for cool clothes. Shop for ugly clothes and laugh at yourself. Put them all in a shopping cart and cry because you're too broke to have them. At least you can have fun imagining yourself in the clothes you want to wear.
3. Play games
...like Pokémon Go. That's a combination of exercise and fame, which would most likely make you less stressed about life. Additionally, you would feel less lazy and fat because you just exercise. You can get rid of all the negative feelings by wasting your energy playing games and feel great at the end, although it is unlikely that you will feel completely happy. At the very least, you can feel satisfied that you finally did something useful with your life that doesn't involve sitting.
4. Cry
If there's really nothing you can do, and you've pretty much given up on life at the moment, then you might as well cry about everything that disappoints you, like your annoying sister, your annoying parents, your annoying friends and your annoying existence. This won't last forever, but crying helps a little. Wait until tomorrow, when the feelings mitigates and you hopefully feel a little bit better. Your tests and deadlines don't really matter at this point.
5. Rant
Scream at your best friend about your problems even though they have nothing to do with it. Go on a word document and type in all caps and complain about every little annoying thing in life. Go outside and scream your lungs out and annoy the neighbors because you live in this house and you can do anything you want. Take a baseball bat and whack everything in sight that annoys you. Get all that anger out and maybe you'll feel better.
6. Smile
Pretend that your life is okay. Smile, take some food out, and watch a horror movie so you won't feel like you're alone anymore.
If you are sincerely unhappy, the best thing to do is to talk to someone and sort your feelings out. A week later, you probably won't feel as bad, so make a list of priorities, put yourself as first, and forget about everything else.
