How to Approach an Interview Like A Boss

Breathe! Breathe!

You got an interview! This is a very exciting and nerve wrecking time. Only one step closer to getting the job. Now, how about learning some helpful hints on approaching your interview like a boss?

1. Dress Professional:

No, professional does not consist of tight mini skirts, low cut blouses or the sagging of one's pants. As much as every interviewer loves to see underwear hanging out of pants, stick with something a bit more conservative. Something like a nice dress or a suit to show that you really cared about getting dressed that day can make a difference to the interviewer's first impressions of you. You don't want to look like you just got out of the club.

2. Read the Job Description:

Know what this job's expectations are of you. It is always nice to know ahead of time what this job is looking for so you can assure them that you are qualified.

3. Smiling Can't Hurt:

A simple smile does not only show great customer service, but it also is a great way of brightening up someone's day. See these people look happy, right? You want to show the interviewer that you are very happy to be there.

4. Confidence is Key:

Show that you are confident with your abilities. Confidence includes being happy with who you are as a person. Whatever you do, don't bite your nails. It will giveaway that you are nervous!

5. Do Not Play With "The Thing" During the Interview:

That means do not play with your hands, hair, face or tap a pen. Show that you are focused on what they are talking about rather than the split ends in your hair.

6. The Interviewer Is Your Friend You Are Bragging to So That They Like You:

Brag to the interviewer about yourself. Show that you have had previous experience that will qualify you for this job. Brag away my friend!

7. Know Where You Are Applying:

Do not blindly apply to a company. Learn what the company's mission is so that you know what they might expect from you. Maybe read some customer reviews of them online.

Now, you've got this! Be the boss!

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
