Two hot air balloons
Floating in different skies.
Both floating through lightning and thunder,
Barely making it through terrible nights.
Floating over people
Who want to bring us down.
But we would rather suffocate in space
Than six feet underground.
We float in different skies
But we go the same direction.
We've been through different storms,
But we want the same affection.
It's lonely in the sky
When you look below.
Everybody knows the way
Everybody's in control.
We're just floating with the wind.
I wonder which is better.
Maybe it would be great up here
If we could float together.
The storms won't go away,
And the clouds won't disappear.
But I think it would be easier
If yours and my heart were near.
If we fall down to the earth,
Or we float into outer space,
I would rather be right next to you
And die seeing your face.
