High school friends are really something special. They have seen you through instrumental times of your life. You went through the awkward freshman year stage. Then, there is the more exciting sophomore year where you get your license. Junior year is when you start to have some fun, but the school work is just painful. And then there is senior year, a.k.a. one of the most amazing years of your life. Everyone becomes so close and you have so much fun amidst the excitement of choosing where you are going to college and graduating from high school.
It isn't until college that you realize how much your high school friends mean to you. You are thrown into an environment where you know no one, and even when you find your new college friends you still find yourself excited to go home and see all of the friends that will forever hold a huge place in your heart.
Your high school friends helped you find yourself, build yourself and bring you to exactly where you are in this point in your life. You owe them a huge thank you and even as you move on, fully immersing yourself in your new life and friends, you will never forget your high school friends. You drove around blasting music in the car, broke curfew, had your first drink with them and went to Friday night football games. They are something special. Never forget them.
