5 Key Reasons to Support Donald Trump
media.salon.com

For starters, Donald Trump is outwardly racist and politically incorrect. The majority of what he says is derogatory towards another individual or an entire group of people. America is supposed to be about inclusion, not exclusion. If he had real Christian values he would treat everyone equally and fairly and not make judgement on them based on a race or religion. Also, the Mexicans would never agree to build/pay for a wall and those that are trying to get into the US are typically in search of a better life for themselves, the American Dream, not here to harm anybody. Finally, most of his support comes from him speaking to Americans fears.

While overall outward persona of Donald Trump is rude and arrogant and viewing him as a leader would most likely get America into multiple wars, the time has come to make a decision- continue running a failing country or begin standing up for ourselves. America has massive trade deficits with other countries, we spend the most per pupil in education yet are ranked among third-world countries, our politicians are incompetent, and we are drowning in debt. We need a leader that can fix this nation and, especially when compared with other candidates, Donald Trump will get the job done and here is why:

1. He always WINS

Mr. Trump is a business man who has been impressively successful in one of the hardest industries - Real Estate. As a Licensed Real Estate Broker, I can personally confirm that Real Estate is cut throat and more people lose than win. Compared to when Donald Trump built his empire, now there are more regulations and stipulations in place, but those are just regarding time and contracts - the basic principles of return on investment still remain constant. Donald Trump is smart, knows how to use our laws to his advantage, and succeeds by smart negotiation tactics and out-of-the-box thinking. Sure, his father initially helped him out, but Donald Trump could have easily lost that initial investment like so many others do. Instead, he turned his father's $1 million investment into a $10 billion empire. To put that into perspective, for ever $1 of initial investment, he generated $10,000 in return. If his father only invested $5,000 in Mr. Trump, he would now be worth a shocking $50 million. He accomplished this by always being at the forefront of everything he has done, having a strong worth ethic, and knowing how to manipulate different variables to get the outcome that he desires.

2. He is self-funding his campaign

It may sound like another outlet to brag, but Donald Trump self-funding his campaign is a game of strategy, not arrogance. If elected to office, he is not controlled by various special interest groups. Other candidates are easily manipulated by individuals who donate large sums of money to their campaign then have to do whatever they were told. If elected, Donald Trump can remain true to his solid fundamental beliefs and will not be reliant on anyone except the values that got him elected.

3. He says what he wants and does not care what others' think

No matter how outrageous it is, Donald Trump will point out the flaws in other individuals and groups that he does not agree with. Sure, he is a little rough around the edges, but he gets his point across and always changes the playing field. He is the one who brought to light that Ted Cruz is ineligible to run for office and cheated in Iowa, he gave Jeb Bush a reputation for low energy (true), he pointed out how Carly Fiorina slowly drove a publicly traded company's stock price into the ground when she became CEO, and we all know about Hilliary Clinton's addiction to late-night emailing. Also, he brings awareness to other events - such as our trade deficits with almost every foreign country, China building a military island in the middle of the Beijing Sea, Obama losing hundreds of millions of dollars in the Iran Deal, and more! The media twist reality and portrays events differently than they truthfully occur. The Founder and CEO of Amazon.com actually bought The Washington Post so that he can have a political interest and control the spread of news about his company. It is hard for the ordinary person to look past the facade a news anchor reading a teleprompter and see the actual corruption happening around the world due to special interest groups that control media outlets just like they control our politicians.

4. His political views are sound

Just watch any of his speeches and learn that his views - especially on immigration - are very solid and easy to agree with. He is Pro-Life, Pro-Guns, wants to take care of our Veterans and Senior Citizens, not allow the government to make money from Student Loans, does not prioritize long-term environmental issues over short term economic issues, wants to bring jobs back to the States, and more!

5. Compared to other candidates, he is our best option

The biggest of his political rivals are Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, Cason, Clinton, and Sanders. Cruz has been found guilty of cheating in Iowa, consistently threatens to shut down the government and has done so twice in the past, and is ineligible for office due to him only moving the the States three years ago. Rubio is a lightweight, all talk and no action politician. Kasich has lost hundreds of millions of dollars in pension funds and supported illegal immoral wars. Carson does not have the strength nor knowledge. Clinton is a train wreck who has sent innumerable classified emails to unknown parties. Lastly, Sanders will destroy the economy by free education and is a self proclaimed socialist. I would take a politically incorrect individual over any of those, everyday.

Even though you might disagree with the overall outward persona of Donald Trump, I encourage you to do extensive research beyond the TV screen to formulate an accurate opinion on this inaccurately portrayed individual. He may be rough around the edges, but I strongly believe that he is America's best chance to rebuild our failing country. He has obtained an incredible amount of success personally, and his work ethic and mindset can easily do the same for the country. A vote for Trump is a vote to rebuild the dead American Dream and make our country great again.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
