I don't know about you, but lately, scrolling through newsfeeds has been extremely depressing. I cannot seem to go an hour without having to see and hear about all of the heartbreaking and frightening things happening in our current world. Shootings, clown sightings, murders, natural disasters, dying children in foreign countries, and this terrifying election seems to be the only thing the media want to show us. I am here to tell you that we are not completely doomed.

Here are at least 15 positive things also happening in our world today that hopefully make your day of scrolling through the news just a little more enlightening!

1. There are burritos with french fries in them.

What a time to be alive.

4. We may have found the cure to MS disease.

Yes, it's true!

5. 500 elephants have been relocated to a much safer home in Africa.

More space = happy elephants!

6. Seaworld is no longer breeding Orca whales.

I enjoyed the theatrical shows as a kid as much as you, but it is about time.

7. This guy gives free haircuts to homeless people every Sunday.

There are good people in this world!

8. This biker rescued a badly burned kitten at a gas station and now takes him cross-country in his vest.

Even hardcore bikers have soft spots too.

9. "Frame Football" is an emerging sport just for children with disabilities.

10. This husband spent two years planting thousands of flowers for his blind wife to smell.

If this doesn't make you happy, then I don't know what will.

11. This man lives in a stranded, radioactive exclusion zone to take care of all the animals everyone else left behind.

They say he has 30-40 years to live, and he couldn't care less.

12. This Pit Bull was a starving stray rescued from the streets, and has not stopped smiling since!

13. The Northern Lights in Norway are almost too beautiful to be real.

14. Some snowboarders hit the slopes through a cloud of balloons, just because.

Snowboarding just became even more fun.

15. Same-sex marriage is now legal in 23 countries!
