So, if you’re a real Gilmore Girls fan you have been counting down the days till November 25. You cannot wait to see Lorelai, Rory, Luke, and even Kirk, take the screen once again. The four-part revival will take viewers through four seasons in Stars Hollow and what has happened since the show ended in 2007. Even if you finished the iconic series a decade ago, last night, or are even still watching, these are a few things you can do to be 100 percent prepared for the comeback.
1. Brush Up on your Gilmore-isms and Terms.
“Copper Boom”. “Butt-faced miscreant”. “You’ve been Gilmored.” Rory and Lorelai always say the strangest things. But, they just seem to always make sense to us. I’m sure they could fill a dictionary with their made up sayings and references to almost anything.
2. Re-watch your favorite episodes.
Anything with quick wit, lots of coffee, and Emily and Lorelai bickering. Oh wait, that’s every episode. I love any episode that Luke is in. He is just the best character in my eyes because he is just so done with everyone around him. His bickering with Taylor, budding romance with Lorelai, and yelling at Kirk, have to some of my favorite moments in the show, besides scenes with Jess of course.
3. Google every possible hint about the revival.
C’mon, you know you want to know before it happens! We have been waiting for this day since forever and now that it is almost here, it’s hard to wait. With Amy Sherman – Pallandino, you never know what is going to happen next.
4. Make bets on who Rory will end up with.
Personally, I hope she ends up with Jess. He was just the best wasn’t he? He may not have treated her the best when they were together, but his heart was always in the right place. Even though he did break Rory and Dean up, he always wanted what was best for Rory, and that was him. Plus, he is just so cute I mean come on look at him!
5. Are Luke and Lorelai married? Make bets on that too.
The trailer hints that they are back together, but are they married. I always wanted them to stay together and when she left him and married Chris, I was so upset. But knowing they are back together is just another reason I am so excited for this revival.\
6. Count down the days until it's back.
November 25 seems like a life time away. But knowing that I get to see 360 more minutes of Gilmore, I can wait just a little longer.
