Going To Dinner At A Dining Hall, As Told By House M.D.

Dining halls are a quintessential part of college life. Going to dinner at a dining hall is truly an experience like no other. Not to fear, the characters of House M.D. are here to understand the rollercoaster that is a dining hall.

1. When you try to decide between Appel, RPCC and somewhere on West.

2. When someone suggests getting salad for dinner.

3. When you are torn between the Asian station and the pasta station and decide to go for both.

4. When the person in front of you takes the last slice of pizza.

5. When the line for mongo goes on forever.

6. When you get the last quesadilla, and your friend wants it.

7. When there is breakfast for dinner.

8. When you inevitably see the person you've been trying to avoid.

9. When you find a prime table.

10. When you want your friend to try a weird food, so you can know if it's safe to eat.

11. When the grapes at Appel aren't gone after 30 seconds.

12. When you try to decide if you want to go back for thirds.

13. When someone asks if you're really still hungry after four plates.

14. When you just keep eating because you don't want to go back and study.

15. When your parents call while you're eating.

16. When someone eats only a small bowl of knock-off Rice Krispies and nothing else.

17. When you see the person you hooked up with last weekend.

18. When someone asks if you want dessert.

19. When your friend brings a cookie back to the table for you.

20. When someone asks if you want to head back, but you really just want to continue procrastinating.

21. When your friends help you steal that second piece of fruit.

22. When you remember that you're going to do it all again tomorrow.

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

You cannot beat the beach. Believe it or not (which many people may not), New England has a long and beautiful coastline. Most of my high school summers were spent sitting on the Wall at Hampton Beach, getting sunburnt and eating Acai bowls from The Secret Spot. The Wall was the place to be both during the day and at night. We begin our days there with a KB's bagel and coffee, and end them with pizza and ice cream. It’s not a New England summer without that 4 p.m. text from someone, “Who wants to meet at the Wall tonight?” Nighttime is for Tripoli’s Pizza, the sound of waves, and wishes on shooting stars. Wednesday nights are especially important, as those are the nights that Hampton Beach sets off the weekly firework display.
