'Ghost Whisperer:' The Show That Needs A Comeback

Can you see us? Ever since she was a young girl she could see the dead, or as her grandmother calls them “Earth Bound Spirits.” Melinda Gordon does more than just help people, she helps the dead find their place. Regardless of what you believe happens to a person when they die, every episode makes Melinda tear up and so will you. The life everyone leads seems so boring compared to hers, and she gets to meet so many new people daily.

The series is a show that takes you through many emotions while also wondering the fate of the afterlife. The show ended in 2010 but is on Netflix now with all five seasons. I used to watch the show with my grandma every week, but now I have become addicted all over again. As a college student, I can watch four episodes in a row and go through emotional turmoil each time. I would like to let the world know that this show needs to come back! I want to know how the whole cast is doing now, and I am sure there are plenty of new ghosts that can keep our interest.

For those who do not know of the show, go on Netflix right now and binge watch. The cast consists of actors like Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Jay Mohr, and David Conrad. The dynamic is so easy going and blends so well with so many different personalities. The show has been gone for seven years and it needs to come back. After the first episode, you will understand as I have made this my new addiction.

Melinda Gordon has become one of those characters I would love to be like. She is smart, beautiful, and the kindest human out there. This is a character that is relatable and will inspire us to be better people. Everyone needs a show to push them to do more and to show them that there is so much in the world we can do. This show needs to come back so more people can have this same feeling.

So, stop watching whatever show you have been binging and make it Ghost Whisperer!!!

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
