If you are at all thinking about going to any kind of Halloween activity this year, you have probably gone through the various states of mind when trying to find the best costume. As a fellow procrastinator, here are the crucial steps to finding the perfect Halloween costume as told by "Parks and Recreation."
It's two weeks before Halloween, and you start brainstorming with your friends. Cats, aliens, movie characters, oh my! The possibilities are endless.
And every idea gets better and better...
Until you gotta get serious and nail down a plan.
So you and your friends talk about what ideas are best.
And when you say your big idea, well.. *mic drop*
But when your friends are talking about their favorite idea, you can't help but see how it fails in comparison to your idea. Of course, you still have to be supportive.
Wait- just when you thought you were doing the right thing being polite, a friend disses your costume idea.
Meanwhile, you always have that one friend who doesn't care at all and just wants to go to bed.
All of a sudden, it's the Tuesday of Halloweekend.
Time to scramble and try to somehow find the perfect costume with your friends (while still attempting to study for midterms).
So you meet with your friends after you've all cooled down a little and apologize for being so quick to criticize.
After talking about the final candidates, everyone somehow agrees on the perfect group costume for Friday night.
So you get on your fabulously brilliant costume and go all out with your BFFs.
And even the person who doesn't care is having too much fun...
Until you realize you need to figure out a costume for Saturday night...
But it's still Halloweekend AKA the best weekend of the year.
