It happens to us all every year when we are in college, and yet it seems like we are never prepared enough for it. The whether starts to get nicer, we start applying for summer jobs and making summer plans, and since a lot of us are not going to see our college friends for several months, we start wanting to hang out with them more. Unfortunately, though, while all of this is going on, so are finals. Finals week is certainly a time to be busy, and since most of us are busy this week and probably tired of reading stuff, it would probably be better to explain what finals is week through GIFs and memes instead, and what better way to do that than with ones from some of your favorite childhood cartoons.

It all starts out like this:

You start out feeling confident, like you can take on any paper, project or test that comes your way.

And then after a night of studying, your brain starts to get numb

So even the stuff you are interested in studying starts to look:

So you use coffee to try to wake yourself up.

But after a while, your mind and body both start to give out anyway.

And it seems like no matter how hard to try, you can't seem to get enough sleep, So you start to go slightly insane.

And as a result, you try multitasking to make up for lost time.

But sometimes multitasking doesn't get you excellent results.

So you try to dispose of the evidence.

But the bad grades you get somehow still manage to eat away at your self-esteem, so you sometimes look to others for reassurance.

And sometimes instead of studying, you calculate the minimum grade you need to pass for the semester instead.

Eventually you start to get the realization that in reality you're paying for all of this torment.

But you still keep your eyes glued to the computer and study anyway.

Even if you sometimes feel like you're, in reality, doing this with every semester you spend in college.

But you still have the hope that one day you will be able to do this because you in fact did go to college.

So you still get your work done anyway and hand everything in. No matter what it ends up looking like.

Sometimes you don't have time to get food either so during finals week you tend eat the most unhealthy things.

But when you do have time to spend with your friends and get food with them that week, you all tend to laugh about the most random things.

It's sort if funny too how the one thing that distracts you the most is also the same thing that helps you get your work done.

Even though you really don't want to get it done because you still feel overwhelmed.

But eventually you pull yourself together and end up locking yourself up in the library to get everything done.

Because you know if you are organized and can plan everything out right, you get get everything done.

Having that one project partner who really comes through for you helps too. And when the project is finally done and is a success you're like:

After it's all said and done, though, it feels great when you get the results you want.
