Well the time has finally come, finals week. The semester is almost over, but first, we have to get through tests and papers and everything else our professors decide should all be due in the span of one week. While many of us are preparing for the tests that will be the life of us, here I am putting together Hannah Montana gifs for your viewing.

1. The look we have when we realize that we have five tests, three papers, and a project due in a week

This week is more like swimming through the sea of crushed dreams, across the plain of presentations and over the hill of homework.

2. When you can't decide how to feel

Finals week brings so many emotions with it, one second we're happy and the next we are curled up in the closet halfway through a bag of Doritos.

3. When you decide go stay in the one place that will never hurt you

There is this weird phenomenon that when I am super stressed and have a ton of work to do, I decide to take a nap. During finals week, I seem to never leave my bed unless it has anything to do with food.

4. When you can't be bothered with "dress well, test well"

Some people say to dress for success, but that isn't the case for finals week. The classroom is usually full of students resembling zombies, from the clothes to down to the blank stares of exhaustion.

5. When caffeine and sugar are your only friends

Caffeine is a necessity during finals week, this is usually accompanied by high-sugar snacks. Some students can be spotted with the same crazed look as Jackson.

6. Trying to come up with ways to remember everything for your tests

We all remember the "bone dance." My weeks are filled with creative ways to remember the loads of information I am required to learn only to forget everything the second I walk into the classroom.

7. When you finally take the exam and realize you know nothing

Once I look at the questions on the test I immediately freak out. Why does the professor give us a study guide if none of it will be on the final? I am slightly comforted when I see similar looks of confusion and terror as we all realize we pulled an all-nighter for no reason.

8. Making a beeline to your room after the test so you can cry in peace.

No comment necessary.

9. Eating your misery

Along with the tears of failure comes the comfort of food, the cupcakes and chips temporarily ease my sorrows.

10. Telling yourself you'll get it next time

After the semester is over the drive home is a ride of reflection. I tell myself that I will do better next semester as I patiently wait for the professors to post the final grades.

11. Accepting defeat

There eventually comes a moment of acceptance, the summer should not be spent in self-pity. There is always next year.

So now that you have had a little study-break it's now time to hit the books, so long for now!

Nobody's Perfect!
I gotta work it!
Again and again 'til I get it right!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
