Fashion trends define decades, and they are always changing. 1950s
Marilyn Monroe
The famous white dress that took everyone's breath away. Monroe, an American actress, model, and singer, symbolizing sex and fashion in the 1950s. The white blonde hair and red lips did more than create the world's most popular fashion statement.
Brigitte Bardot
The French version of Marilyn Monroe, symbolizing and portraying the same lustful tastes. She swept us away with her elegance, something that was frequently sought after in the 1950s and 1960s.
Audrey Hepburn
Cute, bubbly, and the women's woman. She was a British actress who swept Hollywood during the Golden Age of Hollywood and into the '60s. What a charmer. The glitz and glamour were only ornaments to her personality.

She was a prominent teen model in the 1960s London scene. Most known for her short hair and makeup that made her eyes pop.

Although she is one of our favorite '50s girls in "Grease," Newton-John was popular for her fashion sense in the '70s. She traded bell-bottoms for poodle skirts, but remained a beauty on America's silver screen.
1980s
Molly Ringwald
"Pretty in Pink" proved her abilities and interests in creating statement pieces that would reign the fashion industry in the '80s. A little taste of our favorite actress in our favorite '80s movies allowed women to aspire to be the fashionista she was.
Demi Moore
With her acting debut beginning in the early '80s, Moore created a platform of her many creative fashion trends that every woman could achieve."St. Elmo's Fire" allowed her teased bangs and baggy clothes to catch on as a trend.
Madonna
Not only did her songs reach the ears of everyone in the '80s, but her dignified pop star style made a fashion statement very similar to Lady Gaga. She embodied the '80s rock and roll leather outfits, shoulder pads, teased hair beyond belief, fingerless lace gloves and cone-shaped bras, making every woman want to perform "Like a Virgin" on stage at least once.
1990s
Spice Girls
With each spice girl having a personality of her own, their fashion sense and outfits ranged from "scary" to "sporty," letting them show everyone what they really, really wanted. You're either "posh" for the form-fitting designer dresses and heels or "ginger" for the liveliness, zest, and flaming red hair, but no matter what, they made everyone "Wannabe" just like them.
Christina Aguilera
Crop tops, high ponytails, and fringe: the ultimate guide to becoming Christina Aguilera. In 1999, her sel-titled album brought us not only the song "Genie in a Bottle," but an outfit that powered through teens' wardrobes faster than Aguilera made dreads a thing.

Beginning as an opening act for *NSYNC, Spears swept the music industry with "...Baby One More Time" and "Oops!...I Did It Again" in the late '90s. She made denim cute, leather boots a necessity, and built her credibility by working for Bloomingdale's and Ralph Lauren on the show. You couldn't go wrong with the Rachel Greene look.
2000s
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen
All of us '90s kids owned a choker at least once in our lives. The Olsen twins were girls' idols and, by far, made the best movies ever. Thankfully, their style was on point, so being just like them was easy. There weren't enough flare jeans, fur-cuffed jackets, and pink-lensed sunglasses in the world to make the early 2000s last a little bit longer.
Raven-Symone
Raven-Symone, or Raven Baxter, proved her fashion taste in her TV show "That's So Raven." She made it clear, many times, that all she wanted in life was to be a fashion designer. Her clothes were always her own creations, and of course, we loved them. Her spunky style set a new standard for the 2000s, and she even has her own clothing line.

"Mean Girls" premiered in 2004 and is to this day one of the most beloved movies of all teenage girls. We see not only Regina George walking the halls in total star-worthy outfits, but Cady Heron finding her inner "plastic" to rock some of the cutest plaid mini skirts, belly shirts and anything pink.
2010s

Kim K. has taken her fame and made the most of it. She takes pride in her wardrobe, giving the red carpet a run for its money.
