Dream Host List For SNL Season 41

Popular sketchy comedy show Saturday Night Live is about to premiere its 41st season on October 3rd. There are many stars who got their start on the show, stars like Andy Samberg, Eddie Murphy, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and others. With season 41 about to premiere, they have already announced three of the hosts for this season: Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer and Tracy Morgan. But, that is only three guests out of the dozens and dozens that they will need. So, I have decided to make a list of the some of the people who would make the list of dream-team hosts for season 41.

1. Jimmy Fallon

You can never go wrong bringing Jimmy on to the show. He's funny, a good actor and can even sing/rap well. Preferably if Justin Timberlake was his musical guest.

2. Will Smith

Why Will has yet to host, I still don't know. He's got amazing comedic timing and is still very relevant.

3. Alfonso Ribeiro

Speaking of Will Smith, his former co-star would also make an amazing host. As well as Will, Alfonso has amazing comedic timing, as well as some killer dancer moves. I would love to see him play a sketch as Carlton Banks on the show.

4. Taylor Swift

She's taken over the world, it's only appropriate she gets her chance to take over the SNL stage again. She completely killed her opening monologue last time she hosted, it'd be no shocker for her to blow her old performance out of the water.

5. Barack Obama

While I know this will never happen in a million years, I still think it would be hilarious to have the president host SNL. I mean, hey, he did a sketch with his anger translator, so it's a possibility. Or maybe he should host after the election and make fun of everyone who shaded him during their advertisements/speeches/debates.

6. Ellen DeGeneres

She has the funniest talk show on day-time television (don't fight me on this, you will lose), she killed it when she hosted the Oscars, and she has amazing comedic timing. If there is one thing I would wish for Saturday Night Live, it'd be that Ellen DeGeneres hosts. PLEASE.

7. Nicki Minaj

Solely for the purpose of more "Miley, what's good?" jokes.

8. Tyler Oakley

Internet stars are starting to break out into being recognized for other than just Youtube or Vine stars, so who better than one of the most popular Youtubers, Tyler Oakley?

9. Josh Peck

Arguably the better half of Drake & Josh. He's popular on basically every social network you can think of, creative and has amazing comedic timing. Plus, his new show Grandfathered is premiering soon, so why not have him on for promoting purposes, which is usually why SNL picks their hosts anyway.

10. Christopher Massey

More commonly known as Michael from Zoey 101, Chris Massey was, arguably, one of the funniest characters on the show. Recently with a video of a small Zoey 101 Reunion, Chris Massey has proved he's still got it and would be an amazing host for SNL.

11. Jennifer Lawrence

One of the funniest and most relatable women in Hollywood, why not have her host again?

12. Victoria Justice

As the president of the "put Eye Candy back on TV" club, it would make me extremely happy to see Victoria Justice as the host of SNL.

13. Tiny Fey

No explanation needed.

14. Amy Poehler

Again, no need to explain why.

15. Anna Kendrick

Homegirl killed it last time she hosted, definitely something I would want to see again in season 41.

16. Blake Lively

Yes, just yes.

17. John Cena

Recently, every joke has been ending in "JOHN CENA!!!" So why not have John cracking the jokes for once? Even if it is just for one night.

I'm sure Saturday Night Live's newest season will be bigger and better than all the others, but hopefully we can see at least one or two people from this list as future hosts.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

19 Lessons I'll Never Forget from Growing Up In a Small Town

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
