Yes ladies, we all do fantasize about falling in love with the man of our dreams, but, is there something better? They say that a dog is man’s best friend, but they may have meant to say women's. Guys are great and all, but dogs are so much better, and heres why.

  1. You can train your dog. Have you ever had a problem with your man not doing what you ask? A dog can be trained to do whatever you please whenever you please.

  2. Your dog will always love your cooking. No matter what your boyfriend says, your dog will always lick up every scrap of food you ever make.
  3. Your dog will wear whatever you want him to. Whether you want your puppy to strut around in his furry birthday suit, or look dapper in a suit, he will be on board with your amazing fashion sense.

  4. Dogs will always want to go out with you. There always comes a time when us ladies want to hit the town. A man may object, but a canine friend will be at the door waiting just at the mention the word out.

  5. Puppies will always be cute. There are definitely some handsome men out there, but there is no man that is cuter than this.

  6. Dogs will always show their love for you. No matter what time it is, or where you are at, puppies will always be there to cuddle and kiss you.

  7. A dog is always loyal. You will never have to worry about a dog running off with someone else. A dog is yours forever and always.

  8. A dog will never judge you for your looks. Don't feel like showering today? No problem. No matter what you look like, a dog will never leave your side. Bonus: if you smell bad your dog may like you more.

  9. A dog will always want to cuddle. If you ever need a hug or just a cuddle buddy, your dog will always be ready and willing.

  10. You're family and friends will love them. Ever worry about your family or friends not liking your significant other? Forget that; they will immediately fall in love with your dog.

  11. Your dog will always be excited to see you. Theres nothing like coming home to someone who could not be more happy just to see you. Even the perfect man wouldn't always that excited.

  12. A dog never takes you for granted. A dog will always worship the ground that you walk on. They will make sure you know they love every second that they're with you.

  13. You're perfect to them. A dog looks at you and sees perfection. You are all that they will ever want.

  14. A dog will always be there to listen. A dog will always listen you vent without ever passing judgement.

  15. A dog will love you unconditionally. No matter what you say or do, a dog will never stop loving you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
