With Spring Break coming up, there are hundreds of places to go. It’s the time of year where everyone is done with school and they just can’t wait for the week-long spring break. What best way to de-stressed from college work than to travel around the United States. To be able to travel is one of the most fun things to do and there are just so many places to go! From experience, here is a list of places that just would be so fun to road trip to, or just simply fly and go with some friends.

The Ultimate College Trip:

1. Disney World, Orlando

Who doesn’t just love traveling back in time to the good of days of Disney World! There is just not an age limit or times one can have fun in Disney. It is the happiest place on earth, and it is a guaranteed fun experience no matter who you go with.

2. Washington, D.C.

If you just want to relax, be able to appreciate the history and art of the U.S. why not just go to its capital! Washington is just one of the best places to go if you are the type of person to wake up early, run around Lincoln monument, tour the FREE art museums and just have the most relaxing time.

3. Boston, Massachusetts

This is just one of the best places to go to! I went there last year for the first time, and I just love it! Maybe the influential factor for me was the Red Sox's stadium, but again, the history of this place is just the best. This is just such a picturesque city that would let you capture the best Instagram worthy pictures.

4. New York, New York

Okay, let’s be real, who doesn’t love New York. It has everything, and when I say everything, I mean everything! New York has the art, theater life, shopping and of course the nightlife. Whoever goes, there is no way you would not go back. New York is just one of the best places to spend a couple of days, walk around the city, go places, and meet new people from all over the world.

5. Miami, Florida

Of course, there is the obvious option of the beach during the Spring Break. Miami has the best nightlife, the concerts and festivals on the beach just make everything better. You can’t help but spend a day at the beach and if you want to do some shopping there are shops right by the beach!

6. Chicago, Illinois

I could say, that this one of the places that I had gone back to the most. I’m not so sure what it is, but since the first time I went, I fell in love with this city and I can’t help but keep going back. There is a little bit of everything and it is just amazing.

7. Los Angeles, California

The city of the stars, this is a place that you need to experience at least once in your life. Follow the path of “La La Land” and experience what you always been looking for.

8. San Francisco, California

There is just this thing that makes you love San Francisco. Travel around the city in a cable car and find your heart! From the heart sculptures all around the city to the baseball stadiums, the Golden Gate Bridge, there is no way you can go wrong with this city.

9. Las Vegas, Nevada

This is just the place to go when you are 21. But if you’re not 21 yet, don’t worry there is plenty to do around the city than gamble and drink. You can shop around the city, go to shows like Cirque du Soleil, zip line through downtown Vegas, there are just endless possibilities to have fun!

10. Ruidoso, New Mexico

If you are an adrenaline junkie, this is the place for you. Go out and ski across the mountains, tube down a snow cover slope hill and just have a blast with your friends.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
