Gossip Girl will forever hold a special place in my heart. It’s no secret that Blair Waldorf is my spirit animal and that I would give anything to live on the Upper East Side of New York with my nothing-short-of-designer wardrobe, French macarons, and of course the love of my life, Chuck Bass (Why? Because, he's Chuck Bass). Due to my not-so-low-key obsession with all things Gossip Girl paired with my love for eventful weekends in my perfect little college town, this accurate representation of a typical weekend out was born. Enjoy!
When you assemble your posse of sorority sisters and are about to leave for a night of "fratting."
When you get called down to standards after making a complete fool out of yourself during said night of "fratting."
When random girls from other sororities show up at your exchange. Clearly this is a themed event, and you aren't dressed up. There's a reason you didn't get the memo.
When you will stop at nothing until you have possession of that beloved shack shirt from your favorite fraternity.
When a guy says "hey, come upstairs to my room, I want to show you my fish tank".
When you run into your ex beau and his new arm candy
at a party, and you try your hardest to be civil. When you have a severe pizza craving and Dominos is conveniently located in the center of Greek Row.
When your friend feels the need to call everyone in her contacts just to let them know how much she loves them.
When you try to tell your friends that you’ve had one too many and simply want to stay parked by the toilet for the rest of the night, but they are pushing you to rally.
When you decide to go out on a Thursday, and halfway through the night you realize you have that exam you forgot to study for 8 am the next morning.
The walk home.
When you finally make it home, stumbling through the door (with only about half of the girls you left the house with several hours before), and your house mom clearly disapproves and gives you one of these looks.
When you come to the healthy decision that you could use a night in for a change, but can’t decide what to watch on Netflix: No matter how many times you have watched all six seasons from start to finish, the answer is always Gossip Girl.
