If 'Rick And Morty' Characters Were College Majors
Screen Rant

Today's day and age always have a tendency to watch rather interesting shows.

One of these shows is called Rick and Morty. I'll admit I'm pretty *burp* addicted myself. What is "Rick and Morty???" Good lord okay, this show is basically Rick converts the garage into his personal laboratory and gets to work on all sorts of dangerous science like gadgets. That wouldn’t be so bad hahaha but, Rick continues to involve his grandchildren Morty and Summer in absolutely RICKDICULOUS adventures. Wubba-lubba-dub-dub! Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, biatch! So, what character reps your major?

Well, these are just 5 but, I guess you can put it whatever you want.

Liberal Arts: Jerry Smith

Liberal Arts are just that the necessities these include academic subjects such as literature, philosophy, mathematics, and social and physical sciences as distinct from professional and technical subjects. That is it...

Jerry Smith fits this perfectly because he is considered insecure, incompetent, and well...rather clueless. He used to work at an advertisement agency and then he was fired for incompetence and was jobless ever since. Hey, at least he ended up taking a stand up against Rick and his behavior toward his family and in turn resulted in Beth (his wife) divorcing him. (ouch)

Animal Biosciences: Beth Smith

Animal Biosciences or Animal science is considered studying the biology of animals that are under the control of humankind". Historically, the degree was called animal husbandry and the animals studied were livestock species, like cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, and horses.

Beth Smith obviously fits into this category since she is considered smart, assertive, and level headed. Not only that but in the series itself, she is a horse surgeon. However, there are other reasons. Rick is her father who is considered a genius/scientist. So why not incorporate animals and science!?! Smart Beth, but damn...why would you choose Jerry...he sucks. Don't worry sweetie...just drink away that problem.

Women's Studies: Summer Smith

Women's studies' is an interdisciplinary program that seeks to study history and culture from women's perspectives and to deepen the methods of academic pursuit by acknowledging the critical place of gender. Basically, in all, it allows students to better understand the changing roles and behavior of men and women in the contemporary world.

Summer fits into women's studies perfectly because she is extremely self-centered, attempts to be "popular", and those may seem like low points, she is very smart. She is very upset/jealous that Morty and Rick are always going on "missions" and "adventures" together and she eventually says f**k it and joins them. Good on you Summer...good on you!

Communications: Morty Smith

Communications is highly known for academic discipline that deals with processes of human communication. There is a range of topics, from face-to-face conversation to mass media outlets such as television broadcasting that you can eventually reach out into.

Morty is most definitely in the Communications field due to the fact that he is constantly wanting to talk things out. However, Morty is also good hearted and adventurous so there is enough "wiggle room" for Morty to do whatever he wants. Be careful though. You don't want to succumb to the crap that Morty does have to deal with on a daily basis (basically being told what to do and how to do it) *cough* RICK!

Last but not least....

Biophysics: Rick Sanchez

Biophysics is basically biology from the perspective of the physical sciences. It gives students the opportunity to obtain a degree in in biology and medicine. Biophysicists concern themselves with structure-function relation of proteins and nucleic acids, photosynthesis, biological transport processes, sensory systems, and computer modeling.

So, Rick...first off let's put it this way- he's a genius, he's a scientist, and he makes inventions every freaking episode...so yeah biophysics is so a Rick major. Between creating a device whose life purpose is just to cut butter, to turning himself into a pickle he is most definitely a biophysics. Not only that, he is so focused on his projects, adventures, and missions, (lets not forget the alcoholism either) that all other feelings are practically nothing to him. Prime example: "Listen Morty, I hate to break it to you, but what people call love is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, Morty, then it slowly fades; leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. I did it, your parents are gonna do it, break the cycle, Morty, rise above! Focus on science."

"It's been six hours. Dreams move one one-hundredth the speed of reality, and dog time is one-seventh human time. So, you know, every day here is like a minute. It's like Inception, Morty, so if it's confusing and stupid, then so is everyone's favorite movie." Do you understand where I am coming from though? Makes sense right! So go ahead and get shcwifty my friends get shcwifty!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
