Books Currently In My Online Shopping Cart

I don't know how to make decisions, so I just leave items in my virtual shopping carts.

Amazon.com is a great place for many reasons. You can buy cheap, obscure, and practical items. It's also good for keeping track of things you might want in the future. My shopping cart has had items ranging from CDs to Grow Your Own Bonzai Plant Kits. I've never purchased one of those kits, but it's nice to know I have the option.

The last time I opened up Amazon, I saw that I had 11 items in my cart. I knew damn well that I wasn't going to buy all of the items there, but, once again, it's nice to know I have the option. I'm not going to list all of the books I had in my cart (because I regret considering some of them), so here ate the six that made the cut.

The Gallery of Unfinished Girls

I need more books with female protagonists in my life, so this caught my eye. It's not out yet, but I was ready to preorder this the moment I saw it. I might go ahead and buy it after I write this article.

Sometimes We Tell The Truth

The cutely drawn cover of this book drew me in. I could immediately tell it was either going to be a contemporary novel or a coming of age story. Heck, it could even be both. Although I don't like to admit it, I really do like coming of age stories, so I wouldn't mind giving this book a shot.

The Reader (Sea of Ink and Gold)

I've been meaning to read this book for an embarrassingly long amount of time. I always see it in the bookstore, I follow the author on twitter, and I even have a bookmark that I got from the author based on the book. I feel fake using the bookmark in a book that isn't The Reader, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

They Both Die At The End

At the moment, I own all of Adam Silvera's books. They're sad and have amazing twists, and this book is available to preorder. After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to buy it once it's released at my local bookstore.

The Last Of August

This book is a part two to A Study In Charlotte, a book I've owned, read, and written a review on. I really did enjoy it, so why shouldn't I buy the second book? I don't know. I'm sure I will buy it eventually.

Blonote

I mainly want Blonote to support the author who wrote it. He's a very wise and troubled man who has made it far in his life. He always looks on the bright side, and I want to read what he has to say. He translated this book from Korean all by himself (which he claimed was extremely difficult), so I don't want his efforts to be wasted.

The internet is a great place, especially for discovering new books. Go exploring on your local internet today!

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
