It's fall and I am sure we can all admit that we have whipped out the boots, flannels, and PSL. Instead of doing the same ole same ole, it is time to mix things up a bit. This fall, step out of your comfort zone. Be aware of all your city and the season has to offer. Here is a list of Non-Basic Activities to try this fall.
Visit an orchard

Yes, I know the pumpkin patch has the potential to get you maximum Instagram likes, but give orchards a try. Carter Mountain is the closest orchard in the area, located in Charlottesville with peaches and apples. Take a day to go pick apples and then bake an apple treat after.
Order the Salted Caramel Mocha from Starbucks instead of the Pumpkin Spice Latte
The Salted Caramel Mocha is often in the shadow of the PSL. Now, I love pumpkin as much as the next person does, but the PSL is overrated.
Come up with an original Halloween costume
Get creative this October 31st, people. Ladies, the sexy cats and VS angels are getting a little redundant. Be bold. Try something new. Halloween is all about getting an opportunity to dress up as something you are not. Be a flapper or style icon you admire.
Make fall theme big girl/boy drinks
One of the many lovely aspects of fall is all the cinnamon-, pumpkin-, and apple-flavored everything that comes out. While you're enjoying Shonda's #TGIT with Greys, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder, have a glass of Fall Sangria.
