I'm sorry.

I'm sorry Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential election.

I'm sorry you feel unsafe to live in a country that is supposed too be open to all religions and walks of life, but isn't.

There's not much we can do about Trump being president.

But there's one thing we can do in this cruel and hateful world:

We can fight.

Fight for love; and that every American should be able to marry whomever they want without the fear of that being taken away from them.

Fight for justice. If your friend is Muslim, and is getting teased because of her hijab, fight for her!

Fight for freedom. We were all immigrants when America was first discovered. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, should be able to experience the beautiful freedoms that the United States of America has to offer.

But, DO NOT just sit there and take this oppression.

You deserve better.

You matter.
