1. 10 Things I Hate About You

You may have seen this video or at least parts of this video where Fiona reads her poem about the boy she fell in love with. He broke the girl who hates everyone and everything as people put it, but the toughest ones are always the ones that hurt the most. And this movie shows that everyone has feelings and anything is possible

2. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Not everyone likes Harry Potter, but I found this movie to be one of the best Harry Potter movies. Harry Potter is very popular, but I think this movie is so unappreciated.

3. Pirates Of the Caribbean: The Curse Of the Black Pearl

Everyone loves the drunken idiot Jack Sparrow, including me. From his drunken, long-legged running, to his idiotic genius pirate ways. He may well be the best-worst pirate you've ever seen

4. The Shining

This movie is THE creepiest movie. I don't mean this lightly. This movie will mess you up. The trailer does not do it justice to how creepy and messed up it is. Honestly the maze part if horrible

5. It's A Wonderful Life

This movie seems so happy when you look at the actors and the outside of the story but this movie carries a burden on its back. This movie is about an angel that is sent to help give a businessman a reason to live. She shows him what life would be life if he was never in it. It is full of emotion, heartbreak, and "a wonderful life"

6. Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump is honestly the most beautiful movie ever. It's full of love, war, and adventure. Forrest is seen as "the local idiot" but he was so awesome. He was an amazing soldier, amazing friend. He did literally everything I wish I could do with my life. He should be an inspiration to everyone. Literally everyone.

7. Bridget Jones's Diary/ Baby

There are three movies for this series and it is sooo good. Bridget Jones says and does all of the things we wish we could do, and she has the most amazing men that want her and fight for her. She's got everything you could say, she's beautiful and so hilarious. If you don't like these movies, I don't think we can be friends.

7. Moana

This movie deserves every award there is. It is so cultural, funny, and cute. Moana leaves her village to find a better purpose for her life. Moana is a strong girl, who knows she has a better purpose than being stuck on an island with a boring life. She risks her life to make sure her island is safe and save Te Fiti from the stereotype the people before her made to turn her into a horrible beast when she is defiantly not. The scene where Moana spreads the sea to walk across and confront Te Fiti deserves every award there is in the world. It gave me chills

This is what I am talking about:

I actually cried when I first watched this part, just an FYI

8. Finding Dory

Because Finding Nemo wasn't enough. And it truly wasn't. I don't know why I didn't fight for Finding Dory earlier. Dory is my favorite, and many other people's also!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
