Fall means dark clothes, dark hair, and dark makeup. When the temperature starts to drop and the leaves change colors; hair appointments are made, boots get pulled from the back of the closet, pumpkin spice is everything, and smokey eye's make a comeback. If you want to switch up your look this year or learn a trick or two, keep reading and maybe you'll be inspired to try something new.

1. Blonde Balayage Lobs

Lobs (long bobs) are making a comeback! No one wants to deal with the time and energy it takes to wash and style long hair, especially when you stayed in bed 20 minutes after your alarm went off because its freezing outside. Cut your morning routine in half by sporting a lob and make it exciting by getting some highlights, or balayage the ends to brighten up your look.

2. Dark Red Lips

Let's be real, dark lips are always in, but when fall rolls around there's never a bad time to wear them. Going to the grocery store? Dark lips. Have class? Dark lips. No matter the destination, the answer is always, dark lips.

3. Q-tips, Q-tips, and more Q-tips

Cat-eyes and dramatic wings can be intimidating to try. If you haven't tried them yet, or are having a hard time making them perfect, its time to invest in some Q-tips. Any smudges can be quickly and easily swiped right off with a damp Q-tip and a steady hand.

4. Bodysuits Galore

I have never been so happy about a trend as I have about bodysuits. Yes, they're a little awkward, especially when you have to run to the restroom and your friend insists on going with you (ladies, you know what I'm talking about). However, these sexy articles of clothing can work on any body type and every woman deserves to feel confident in what they're wearing.

5. Chokers

I was weary at first, too, but chokers are HOT. They add that little-something-extra to any outfit. If you want to get wild, go with a statement choker that is sure to stand out.

6. Oversized Everything

When I say everything, I mean everything. Sweaters, hoodies, belts, bags, you name it. There's nothing I love more than being cozy, warm, and comfortable when it's chilly out, so this trend is calling my name.

7. Braids

If sporting a lob just isn't your style, thats OK. Braids are in this year and that's the best news I've heard all day. Technically, braids are always 'in-style' but get creative and save some time while your at it. We all know throwing your hair back into a braid is so much easier than blow-drying, straightening, curling, moussing, etc. your hair when your in a hurry.

8. Natural Makeup

I can hear the sigh of relief from women around the world. Yes, this fall you can ease up on the contouring and highlighting and find comfort in knowing that you embody this seasons trend.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
