2016 has not only given us some great new movies and TV shows, but also some killer Halloween costumes. With all the new releases there is bound to be some really creative ways to dress up this year. What makes a great Halloween costume though, is if it's inexpensive and easy to pull off.

Here are 8 creative Halloween costumes for 2016 that won't break your wallet or take up your valuable time.

1. "A Girl Has No Name"

This might be the easiest of them all. All you need is you. Like Arya Stark, the faceless girl, you can rock whatever look you want and still have a relevant and creative costume just by saying, “A girl has no name, “ when someone asks what you are.

2. White Walker

There are a lot of great costumes that can come from HBO’s Game of Thrones, but a White Walker is by far the creepiest for Halloween. If you are looking to try out a new spine-chilling makeup mask this year then this is for you. Check out the many YouTube tutorials for more looks like this one by Elsa Rhae.

3. Pablo Escobar (Narcos)

With the newest season of Narcos out on Netflix, this is a perfect costume for all those guys looking for an easy way out this Halloween. All you need to pull this one off is a Hawaiian shirt and a killer mustache.

4. Deadpool / Spider-Man

For all those Marvel fans out there, Deadpool and Spider-Man are definitely the stars of 2016. If you are looking for a more classic look than Spider-Man is your guy. Try out a Deadpool costume if you want to get away with being completely inappropriate all night. Either way you are ensured to have a super night.

5. Harley Quinn / The Joker

Here is the perfect couples costume for those with an “It's complicated” relationship. This DC dynamic duo is just crazy enough to be the perfect Halloween costume. All you need is a lot of face paint and even more hair dye. What makes this pair great are the options. Either go classic Harley and Mr. J or take your chances with Suicide Squads rendition.

6. Ghostbusters

Just in time for Halloween, one of the greatest spooky movies has been revamped. Now it’s the ladies chance to give this classic costume a chance. Just slap on that famous ghost logo and grab a leaf blower and you’re in business.

7. Stormtrooper

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" doesn’t come out until next month, but it’s always a good time for some Star Wars. This may seem impossible, but all you really need is a black shirt and pants and some paper. Just cut out the shapes and paste them on. You can even make the helmet out of an upside-down trashcan.

8. Stranger Things Cast

One of this years biggest Netflix hits servers as the perfect group costume. This cast may have made Halloween this year the easiest ever. If you can’t get their outfits exact, just throw on some 80’s attire and call it a night.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
