7 Reasons Why I Love Working At Chick-Fil-A

I started working at Chick-Fil-A a year and seven months ago and moved up to a team leader position. Working fast food has its challenges, but also can be rewarding. Here are 10 reasons why I love my job at Chick-Fil-A:

1. I always get Sundays off.

I mean, what other fast food company closes down on Sundays?

2. Our food really is the best.

I eat Chick-Fil-A pretty much every day (even the days I don't work) and hardly ever get tired of it. In fact, I crave it.

3. My coworkers are pretty much my family.

We irritate each other, laugh together, stress out together, and actually do have fun together. It's nice having coworkers that have your back and strive as hard as you do to provide great customer service.

4. I love serving people in my community.

It really is my pleasure! From simply asking people how their day was, to randomly surprising a child who just won a baseball with a free ice cream cone, it's nice to have an influence on people in my community who may need a smile once in a while.

5. I have learned so much from working at Chick-Fil-A.

From learning how to mop floors, iron tablecloths, problem-solve, and manage a shift, Chick-Fil-A has taught me a ton of lessons I can use for life.

6. I love Chick-Fil-A's purpose, and enjoy working to fulfill it.

“To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-Fil-A.”

7. I love the environment I work in.

We treat each other with respect. While times can get stressful, we work as a team to get things done and try and keep a positive attitude. I couldn't ask for a better group of coworkers!

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.
