7 Disney Moments That Destroy Our Hearts
Little Miss Funeral

Ah, the wonderful world of Disney. The place responsible for making you emotional about toys, cars, and, well, emotions themselves. Here are eight moments that destroyed your heart.

1. The Lion King - Mufasa's Death

"Dad, Dad, come on, you gotta get up." Starting off this list with a bang! Straight to the heart. Did Mufasa really have to die? Why do you do this to us DIsney?

2. Up - Ellie Death

This might just be the worst moment on the list. Why in the world did the movie have to start like this? Disney know the way in our hearts.

3. Toy Story 2 - Jesse's Abandonment

For the record, the song that plays during this part of the movie is called, "When She Loved Me," by none other than Sarah McLachlan.

4. Inside Out - Bing Bong Death

Wow... so much death in this list.

"Take her to the moon for me." This movie is smart. Very smart. It's also got all the feels and makes us very... forgive the word, emotional. A friend sacrificing his life for another, classic Disney.

5. Finding Nemo - Barracuda Attack

"Daddy's here, Daddy's got you." What a powerful moment. Thanks you Disney for making me care about a couple of fishes. Thanks a lot.

6. Big Hero 6 - Baymax Death

"Are you satisfied with your care?" This movie moment is another friend sacrificing his life for another situation. Beautiful moment.

7. Toy Story 3 - Acceptance of Death

Did we really think Disney would burn all of these toys? No. Probably not. But, it's still one of the worst scenes to sit through. These toys, even in death, would have each other's backs.

SO MUCH DEATH. WHY DISNEY.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
