Who knew life as the 27th President of the United States could lead to such awkward moments?

UMass Amherst. Everyone knows how accepting this campus can be! No matter who you are or where you're from, you're always able to find a place to be yourself. That is, unless you're 27th President William Howard Taft! I examined the campus to see just how hard it'd be to be William Howard Taft.

1. The Stockbridge Stables

At the age of 9, Taft suffered a skull fracture when the horses that pulled his family wagon went out of control. Call it a hunch, but I don't think you'd see ol' WHT over at Stockbridge.

2. The Campus Center Parking Garage

The parking garage is for cars, not for former 27th Presidents of the United States.

3. The Hobart Townhouses

Taft wasn't known for his drinking, only ever having the occasional beer. Seems like Big Bill wouldn't have done well at a day drink!

4. Durfee Conservatory

Typically, the Durfee Conservatory only houses species of plants, not former 27th Presidents of the United States. Sorry Willy, better luck next time!

5. Berkshire Dining Commons

While one may assume that, due to his well-documented appetite, that Taft would love Berk, you'd be mistaken. Berk has a policy of not swiping in the dead, regardless of if they they are they former 27th President of the United States.

6. Sylvan Residential Area

Does anybody really fill in place at Sylvan?
