Being the oldest out of three girls is what one would call both a curse and a blessing at the same time. With all the ups and downs that come with this supreme title any oldest sibling can probably agree with me they wouldn't trade this experience for anything -- except maybe your favorite Nike hoodie your sister refuses to return.

1. You will always have someone watching your every move.

No this doesn't sound like a positive thing at all and yes, being a role model for your little sisters can be quite a challenge because well let's face it you're growing up and making mistakes too. However, it seems to be no matter how much you screw up they will always see you as their awesome, beautiful, smart, and caring best big sis. If you think about there isn't any better motivation to try and aspire being a better person than knowing some of the most important people in your life are looking up to you.

2. Not only do you have them looking up to you but you will always be able to learn something from them.

Who would have ever thought as the oldest of three girls that you could learn something from two siblings who are still in grade school. It is amazing how much you truly only experience with having younger siblings and every day is a new opportunity for them to find something in yourself you never noticed before or even better you see a new side of them that makes you all grow even closer.

3. You always have someone to take the best pictures with.

Any opportunity is a photo op when you have younger sisters who just happen to be a mini version of the one and only you. This means they have the same beautiful smile and great selfie skills that you can only take so much credit for. You are their number one role model after all aren't you? Let's not even get into the great candids you all can take of you yelling at your sister to stop stepping on your feet or to learn how to duck face better.

4. They love you even with all the insecurities and flaws you have.

Weird foot phobia? Wearing your fat girl pants? Still have that ugly pimple between your boobs? Have an ugly cry face that only a select few have gotten the pleasure of seeing? Yes, they still love you even through all of that. It may be hard to sometimes but, that's part of what family is about. Your sisters will accept you for the real person you are. They are who you can be 100 percent YOU around and feel comfortable doing so.

5. Through all the hard times (and the good times) you can count on them to be right by your side.

Through all the heartbreaks, family troubles, and arguments you have been through you have always come out of it stronger and with an even bigger appreciation for your siblings. Not only the negative stuff but also all the fun vacations or just trips around your hometown wouldn't be the same without your sister DJing in the passenger seat and begging for you to stop at the next Starbucks for a coffee break.

Best of all...

6. They are there to believe in you when you don't even believe in yourself.

They have seen you at your worst... when you are sitting in your bedroom floor at midnight crying for no reason, when you came in after curfew and gave dad attitude even when you were in the wrong, when you emotionally detached yourself from everyone because you were going through a season that was too much for you to be able to handle relationships. Aside from all of that, they have seen you at your best too... when you graduated high school, when you danced your heart out for the very last time at your childhood dance studio recital, when you dedicated a day to spend with them just to remind them of how much you loved them. That is what they are going to remember about their big sister. Even through all the trials and tribulations life puts you through, you still manage to triumph after all is said and done.

Savannah and Sierra thank you for being the best little sisters a girl could ask for. I love you both more than words can say. We have created a bond that I know can never be broken and I feel so blessed and thankful for that each and every day. Remember what mom always said:
