A few games that make me, well, me.

5 Video Games That I Have In My Collection

We all have a personal stash of video games that we love. Here's a look into the top five video games that I play.

1. "Assassins Creed" (Series)

I am not the type of guys to like video games with senseless violence, and the "Assassins Creed" games summarize what I do like. The player goes on missions to kill high profile characters all who were part of actual history. The eloquence of the entire game makes me pretty happy.

2. "Kingdom Hearts" (Series)

This is a series that I have followed since I was a child. "Kingdom Hearts" is a combination of original characters, characters from "Final Fantasy" and Disney characters. Getting to see three of my favorite series combined is awesome. With two main games and loads of sub games, this plot will blow your mind.

3. "Minecraft"

"Minecraft" is another game that is so complex that it hurts. The player starts off with nothing and has to build their way through the world facing off with monsters and the elements. With the added creative mode, the possibilities are endless. Someone even made the city of Indianapolis in the online "Minecraft" game!

4. "Batman Arkham Knight"

Who doesn't want to be Batman? In this game the player gets to not only don the famous costume, but also gets to ride around Gotham in the Batmobile. Punching people can also be nice.

5. "Pokemon" (Series)

Do any words need to be said? "Pokemon" was the first video game that I ever played and it remains the best that I have ever played!

Now that I have shared my collection with you, what others should I add?

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
