It’s that time of year to shout and holler with Christmas cheer. To keep the kids well behaved throughout the chilly month of December, parents can request some assistance from Santa. The Elf on the Shelf explains that the elves get their magic once the kids name them. They then play a fun game of hiding in a new spot each morning around the house and the kids play an ongoing game of hide and go seek.
This game can be fun but these thoughts will come to mind as you spot your elf on the shelf.
HOW DID YOU DO THAT?
This tricky little Elf gets into the craziest places to hide. There are some days where you hide so well, I can’t even find you? How do you do these things magical Elf?
YOU ARE THE SWEETEST ELF ON THE PLANET.
From making my lunch, to offering candy and treats, and the occasional coffee making for mom and hot chocolate for my brothers and sisters in the morning. You are the sweetest Elf around.
OMG ELF YOU ARE SOOOOOO FUNNY.
Little Elf, you are so silly. You play with all of our toys when we aren't looking and sometimes we find you brushing your teeth with a Q-tip! There are mornings when we find you and we laugh the whole day about your silly spots.
Okay, Elf.. you're getting a little creepy with your spying.
I love you Elf I really do, but there are days where you kind of freak me out. I don't always find you creepy but sometimes you have your days where you make me feel a little weird. Let's stick to you playing with my toys and having marshmallow wars with my sisters barbies.
Ugh Elf, you're so cute, if you wouldn't lose your magic from my touch, I'd pick you up and squeeze you.
You bring my family and siblings so much joy, I hope you come back each and every year. I know you'll leave the day of Christmas, but I look forward to every December 1st for you to re-appear. I'd give you a big hug if you wouldn't lose your magic.
Our house will be a little boring for the next 11 months. So we just wanted to thank you for always coming up with fun ways to surprise us and keep us on our toes. Until next December Elf, have a great time back at the North Pole with Santa and your family.
