There are two types of people in the world: makeup lovers and makeup haters. I, for one, am a makeup lover, and have been ever since I watched my first smoky eye tutorial on YouTube. There are certain things that only makeup lovers can understand. To the rest of the world, makeup is just makeup; to the makeup lovers, there is nothing else in the world like buying a brand new eyeshadow palette or bronzer.
How early do you have to wake up to do all of that? It must take a long time.
So here's the thing. Once you've been putting the same stuff on your face in the same order the exact same way every day for years, you get to be pretty quick. I do not wake up hours before I have to be in class just so I can put my makeup on. I get ready in the same amount of time any average person does. In all honesty, sometimes I'm still wearing my makeup from the night before, so there's that.
Can you do my makeup?
No. I put makeup on my face and my face only. I am not a makeup artist, just a very practiced individual. If by some odd chance I do say yes to this question, just know that I'm not liable for what your face may look like after—just saying.
How are you so good?
The same way you get good at anything—practice. I've been doing this every day for close to six years, and you know what they say, practice makes perfect.
Are your eyebrows real?
Yes and if you would like to get out a magnifying glass and examine my eyebrow hairs, feel free.
You just shouldn't wear makeup at all.
Do you want me to tell you that you should wear makeup because you would be prettier with it? Probably not, so don't tell me I would be prettier without it. I will roll my eyes at you and give you an attitude if you ever say this to me, like, can I just live my life without being criticized for liking makeup? Thanks.
