Some people are early risers. Some are night owls. If you’re apart of the latter group and anything like I am, you’ll identify with these struggles a little too well.
1. You’re constantly setting alarms because getting up is a struggle in itself.
You set at least five alarms…even though you know you won’t wake up. No matter how hard you try to be on time, and despite how good your intentions to be punctual might be, you will always be in a rush.
2. Your “school outfits” probably look a little something like this.
There’s nothing better than an oversized t-shirt. Admit it. (No shame in being comfy!)
3. You don’t actually wake up until you get coffee in your system.
Sometimes your caffeine habits make you feel like Lorelai Gilmore.
4. Being a “morning person” isn’t something you could ever comprehend, never mind embrace.
Seriously. You’ll never know how these people do it.
5. People have probably compared you to something like The Grinch if they happen to cross your path before 8 a.m.
Everyone has their weaknesses, and yours just so happens to be functioning in society before lunch time. Don’t worry, at least you’re not alone.
