5 Reasons 'Pokemon Go' Is A Go!

Typically I am not a video game or app game player. I go outside to enjoy nature not to play on my phone. However, I support those of you who have been going outside to catch some Pokemon. Qhether you realize it or not, Pokemon Go has shown me positive ways that technology is used in society. Here are five reasons why I think Pokemon Go should be a go! Shout out to you if you have asked your friends or siblings if they want to go out with you so that you can catch Pokemon. There have been times when my friends were playing Pokemon Go and I didn't feel like playing, but I still enjoyed spending time with them while they were catching Pokemon!

1. My brother has asked me to go to the mall or go to the river with him so that he could catch Pokemon multiple times.

Usually my older brother has much better things to do than spend time with me, but we have had fun during these times, and he even asked me if I wanted to go hiking with him.

2. I have seen people of all ages walking around in groups and as a family playing Pokemon Go.

I have even seen parents walking around both playing Pokemon go while pushing their baby around in a stroller.

3. People have even been setting up tents and bringing coolers with drinks to give out to fellow Pokemon Go players for free.

This shows how Pokemon Go is encouraging others to be kind and to interact with others.

4. Pokemon Go is always a go when you want to spend a little time with that cute guy that you know likes to play Pokemon Go.

One time my friend and I were planning on playing frisbee and volleyball, but then we invited other people and eventually there was a big group of us who started the night out with Pokemon Go and then we eventually got to playing volleyball and frisbee. And that cute boy wanted to play too so he came with!

5. Pokemon Go is a go because it gets people to go out with others and walk around to catch some cute and some crazy looking Pokemon!

I’m not an avid Pokemon Go player but when I see a Pikachu, I have to catch it.

After using half of my poke balls, I finally caught this little guy.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
