5 Places Where You Should Never Approach A Female

If you see a pretty girl, and want to ask her out that's cool, just not in these places.

Recently as I was finishing up some late morning grocery shopping, a random man followed me into the parking lot of Whole Foods to try to ask me out. I found this a little strange, to be honest, and it got me thinking about all of the strange places I, and girls I know, have been approached in by men. These are a few of the places where you probably shouldn't ask out a girl.

1. A parking lot or garage.

Especially if it's dark outside! It will come off as creepy and there's a chance you will end up with pepper spray in your face.

2. From your car while she's walking.

Again, this is pretty creepy-especially at night. She'll likely assume you're trying to kidnap her. Any girl who's ever watched and episode of Dateline, SVU, Criminal Minds, etc. will know better than to get near you.

3. A gay bar

If a girl is in a gay bar she is not there to meet men. Period. Trust me.

4. When she's with her family.

The last thing most of us want is to be approached by a guy when our parents are standing behind us. You probably aren't ready to see the awkwardness that is her family.

5. The library during finals week

True love waits...until after final exams are over. No one has time for the distraction of dating when they have essays to write and presentations to prepare. Give her a few more days to study until you drop the dating bomb on her.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
