Compared to most people, I haven't seen a whole lot of movies. I think the reason for that is because I like to watch movies over and over again. Instead of trying a new movie, I would rather rewatch my favorite James Bond movie. It's problematic, I know. Only recently have I tried to start watching more of the classics such as 'The Heathers' or 'Mean Girls'. I didn't see those two movies until a few years ago. I know, I'm a failure to movie lovers around the world.
Anyways, here are some of the movies I rewatch over and over again. Warning: many of these movies will be newer releases. Please don't burn me.
Skyfall
As I mentioned in the first paragraph, this is my go-to movie to watch when I'm by myself. I'm not quite sure why I find it so enjoyable. I do manage to understand the plot more and more after each watch. You don't have to see the other Bond movies to understand this one, so don't worry about it. Well, all of Daniel Craig's Bond movies are awesome, so you should watch them if you want to. Skyfall just so happens to be the best one.
Inception
The first time I saw this movie, I was so incredibly confused. Most of that confusion was due to me falling asleep in the middle of it, but that's beside the point. I watched it again and it was starting to make more sense. I was still confused, but I had a grip on the plot. Now that I have seen this movie a good few times, I've started to come up with theories about the plot. I know, that's dedication.
Hairspray
This original Broadway movie is so hilarious and fun that there's no way you couldn't watch it more than once. With its familiar cast members and catchy tunes, it instantly became one of my favorite movies. I can't even describe how much I love this movie, so you should watch it yourself.
Amadeus
This amazing and interesting story about the revelry between Wolfgang Mozart and Antonio Salieri puts Mozart in a completely new light. It's told from the point of view of Salieri, so Mozart is seen as the villain. Well, they're both depicted as the bad guy. Very much worth seeing more than once!
The Matrix
This movie has so much symbolism and deep content that it would be a sin in itself to only watch it once. I used to judge it as a kid when my mother would watch it, but sitting down and watching it by myself really changed my perspective. It's so impressive and enjoyable to see multiple times.
