5 Best Beyonce Song Quotes
NY Times

You know her, you love her, she's the queen, she's Beyonce. Her songs inspire, lift up, and slow down people. She has songs for when you love someone, songs for when you're mad at someone, and songs for when you just wanna dance around in your underwear. These quotes from her best songs are ones to live your life by...

1. "I don't know much about fighting, but I know I will fight for you"-- 1+1, 4

Any girl who has ever dated anyone or even liked anyone- so essentially, any girl, can relate to this. When you have someone so special in your life that you could never, ever see yourself without, you will fight for them. You will do anything for them, and if you have to put up a fight for them, you will. Love is never easy, but it is always worth fighting for. This is one of her less popular songs, but the quote speaks truth.

2. "You don't deserve my tears, I guess that's why they ain't there"-- Best Thing I Never Had, 4

A little reminder that who even cares about someone who hurt you? Why bother crying over someone who didn't care if they were going to make you cry in the first place? Someone who would hurt you or trick you or lie to you or--whatever it might be, they don't deserve you, and you shouldn't lose sleep over it.

3. "Diva is a female version of a hustler"-- Diva, I Am Sasha Fierce

As a girl, we've all been referred to as "bossy" or "being a bitch" when we simply were trying to take lead of the situation, and do what any man would have done in the situation.

4. "Some call it 'arrogant' I call 'confident"--Ego, I Am Sasha Fierce

Who even cares what the haters think? Do you, let them talk about it, and don't even care. You are fierce (like Sasha) and no one can bring you down.

5. "The truth of the matter is replacing you is so easy"--Irreplaceable, B'Day

Like Abby Lee Miller says, everyone is replaceable, including that man who lied to you or cheated on you. He's not worth it, and you can always do better and find better.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
