4 Places You Must Visit In Washington D.C.

Every American should visit Washington D.C. at least once in their lives. Here are my top four must-see places.

1. The Newseum

The Newseum is a museum dedicated to all-things news. Crime, politics, entertainment, anything and everything news related ends up at the Newseum. It's the perfect place for everyone!

2. The Hay-Adams

The Hay-Adams is one of the old, classic, D.C. hotels. If you can't stay there, at least head over for breakfast. Who wouldn't want to eat waffles while having a lovely view of the White House and Washington Monument.

3. The National Mall

Everyone should visit The National Mall at least once in their life. The Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial, The Vietnam Memorial, cherry blossoms, they all lead to a wonderful place known as the National Mall.

4. Georgetown University

Georgetown is a wonderful place! It is a beautiful, historic, school and the surrounding area is full of shops and great restaurants, all of which are fantastic. The house that inspired The Exorcist is also there, if that's what you're into.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.
