So, you're a book nerd? I'm ecstatic that you set down your current book to read this article about books. Everyone knows a book nerd, and if you don't, you should. Book nerds are a different, emotional, special, obsessive, yet intelligent breed of nerds. It's a simple fact that everyone needs one in their lives.


1. You could spend countless hours in a bookstore.


2. You never leave the house without your current read.


3. You love the smell of fresh book pages more than anything.


4. You become emotionally drained by the end of a novel.


5. You prefer spending your Friday night reading rather than being social.


6. You have a favorite bookstore you hold dear to your heart.


7. You physically cannot get rid of the books on your bookshelf.


8. You hysterically laugh while reading in public.


9. And cry...


10. You feel an immediate connection when you see someone reading the same book as you.


11. You are more than pleased to have received books for presents.


12. You try to convert others into book nerds.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
