24 End Of The Semester Thoughts

It's almost here...the end of spring semester. You're about this close to throwing every one of your books out the window, because you literally can't even with school anymore. Freedom is so close, you can almost taste it. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel. But will you make it? Who knows. There's a good chance at least a few of these thoughts have also run through your head, as you're contemplating your survival.

1. Finals are literally in a month.

2. And I don't know anything.

3. I wonder how bad I could do on them and still pass my classes?

4. I am so over school.

5. Is it too late to drop out?

6. It's a Tuesday, I probably shouldn't go out, right?

7. But wait, there's only like four more weeks to go out.

8. In that case, I'm definitely going out.

9. This weather is literally amazing.

10. I just want to be outside all the time.

11. I cannot wait to get tan.

12. I should really go to the gym.

13. But Netflix and my bed are calling my name.

14. I'm getting so tired of walking ALL the way to the dining hall.

15. I can't wait for my mom to make me food all the time.

16. I'm going to start eating so healthy when I get home.

17. I'm definitely skipping my class tomorrow.

18. I cannot wait to hug my dog.

19. Ugh, packing up my entire room is going to be an actual nightmare.

20. But wait, leaving is going to be so sad.

21. Seniors are not allowed to graduate.

22. Not going to a frat for three months is depressing.

23. How does one live without a roommate?

24. Can I just stay here and not do the actual school part?

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.
