From the first day of freshman year, my roommate and I got along great. We grew closer and closer as the second semester of our freshman year approached. Now, finishing sophomore year, we have grew a different relationship. What's mine is hers. What's hers is mine. I have grown to know that our relationship is not determined by hearts and emojis saying "I love you BFF, best roommate ever!!", but by saying "get out before I hit you." She gets me. I get her. The sarcasm will only grow, the hate will grow fonder like the heart. At the end of the day, we signed a lease together, chose to live on the same floor of the house together, and even have our rooms next to each other. Obsessed? Ew..maybe, yes. So, that is why we are even living in a house together next year as juniors. As we don't already share every thing around us, and I mean everything, this separation will not change one thing. Two feet away from each other is pretty far, but we can handle. Any pair of roommate who have been able to deal with each other for this long will be able to relate. From leaving to dorms to moving into a house I have realized things will change, but will they really? Not one bit.
