What Fashion Trend Should You Be Following Based On Your Sign?

While your zodiac sign never changes, fashion, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. Runway styles are constantly changing, so why not try one of them before they fall flat! Based off of your zodiac sign, here are some of 2017's up and coming trends to try on and fall in love with before they fall out of style.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Bad Girl's Club

This style is a play on typical rockabilly trends we've seen before, but it's been revamped with a touch of glam rock and attitude for 2017. This wild spirited look matches well with the typically fiery personality of Aries.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Stripes

Stripes are all over the runway for Spring/Summer 2017 fashion! This look is perfect for the organized Taurus because at first glance it's a little dull, but it really brings an edge to any look.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Bras Out

This provocative new trend can only be pulled off by the bold Gemini. Gemini's are well known for being outgoing and straying from the mundane, so this risky trend is perfect for them!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Florals

Pretty florals have graced runways for a long time, but this year they're back and better than ever. Elegant floral patterns dress up the round features and caring personality of the Cancer.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

Paint Patterns

Leos are well-known for being open-minded and creative, so this 2017 fashion is perfect for them! Paint textures are up-and-coming and whether it's shirts or long flowing paints, this is perfect for the Leo.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Button Down Renovation

Your classic button-down just got a twist! This style fits the Virgo's busy nature and keeps them professional while being stylish as ever.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Statement Earrings

The big new trend is big earrings! Oversized earrings match well with Libra's balanced personality. They also amp up the traditionally soft-featured Libra look!

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

XXL bags

This on or off the runway trend is perfect for the Scorpio's mysterious personality. What's in the bag? We may never know, but it definitely looks fabulous.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Ruffles

Ruffles are all the rage for spring! And who better to rock this trend than the freedom-loving Sagittarius? Free flowing ruffles not only give off a young, playful vibe, but also accent the larger than life features of this sign.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Khaki

Spring 2017 fashion has utilitarian written all over it, which can only mean one thing: Khaki. The denim resurgence has finally met its match with khakis coming out on top. This is perfect for the classic, careful Capricorn since it's not too outside the box.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Long pendants

After the long reign of chokers, this is the result: extremely long pendants. This spring/summer fashion is perfect for Aquarians. Typically inventive and bright, this look matches well with the unique personalities of this sign.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

Flatforms

This 2017 trend pairs perfectly with the Pisces relaxed nature. Flatforms give all the elegance and height of heels, but effortlessly and in a more relaxed fashion that matches the Pisces.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
